At AeroAtoms, we are committed to customer satisfaction while maintaining the integrity of our precision-engineered UAV and drone components. This policy outlines the terms and conditions for order cancellations, returns, and refunds.

Order Cancellation

Before Shipment

Cancellation Window

  • Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placement if not yet processed
  • Once an order enters processing or has been shipped, cancellation is not possible
  • Custom or special-order components cannot be cancelled once manufacturing has begun

How to Cancel

  2. Provide your order number and registered email address
  3. Cancellation requests will be processed within 1-2 business hours during business hours
  4. You will receive email confirmation once the cancellation is processed

Cancellation Refunds

  • Full refund will be issued to the original payment method
  • Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days after cancellation confirmation
  • Payment gateway charges (if any) are non-refundable

After Shipment

Orders in Transit

  • Once shipped, orders cannot be cancelled
  • You may refuse delivery and return the package unopened
  • Return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund
  • Alternatively, you may follow our standard return procedure upon receipt

Partial Cancellations

  • For multi-item orders, partial cancellations are possible only if individual items have not been processed
  • Already processed items will be shipped and can be returned following our return policy

Return Policy

Eligibility for Returns

Timeframe

  • Returns must be initiated within 7 days of delivery for standard components
  • Electronic components must be reported within 48 hours if defective
  • Returns requested after 7 days will not be accepted except for warranty claims

Condition Requirements To be eligible for return, items must meet ALL of the following conditions:

  • Unused and in original, brand-new condition
  • In original packaging with all seals intact
  • Include all accessories, manuals, and documentation
  • No signs of installation, modification, or handling damage
  • Product labels and serial numbers intact and legible

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned under any circumstances:

Technical Components

  • Electronic components with opened anti-static packaging
  • Components that have been installed, connected, or powered on
  • Items with broken seals or tamper-evident packaging
  • Components that have been programmed, calibrated, or configured
  • Custom-manufactured or special-order components

Contamination Risk Items

  • Precision sensors exposed to environmental contaminants
  • Sealed battery systems with broken packaging

Clearance and Special Items

  • Final sale or clearance items marked "non-returnable"
  • Bundled component packages (unless entire bundle is returned)
  • Promotional or free items received with purchases

Return Process

Step 1: Request Return Authorization

  • Email support@aeroatoms.com with subject line "Return Request - [Order Number]"
  • Provide order number, item details, and reason for return
  • Include photographs if claiming defect or damage
  • Wait for Return Authorization (RA) number before shipping

Step 2: Package Items Securely

  • Use original packaging whenever possible
  • Protect sensitive electronic components with anti-static packaging
  • Include all original accessories, documentation, and packaging materials
  • Clearly mark the RA number on the outside of the package
  • DO NOT ship without receiving RA number first

Step 3: Ship the Return

  • Use trackable shipping method with insurance for valuable components
  • Customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless item is defective or we shipped incorrect item
  • Risk of loss during return shipping lies with the customer

Step 4: Inspection and Processing

  • Returns are inspected within 3-5 business days of receipt
  • You will receive email notification of inspection results
  • Approved returns are processed for refund within 5-7 business days
  • Rejected returns will be shipped back to you at your expense

Refund Processing

Approved Refunds

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • Processing time: 5-7 business days after approval
  • Bank processing may take additional 5-10 business days
  • You will receive email confirmation when refund is initiated

Refund Amounts

  • Full product cost for eligible returns in perfect condition
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable
  • Return shipping costs are deducted unless item is defective or incorrectly shipped
  • Restocking fees may apply (see below)

Restocking Fees

Standard Restocking Fee: 15% Applied to the following situations:

  • Returns due to customer ordering wrong component
  • Change of mind or no longer needed
  • Compatibility issues not verified before purchase
  • Returns after 3 days of delivery

No Restocking Fee

  • Defective products (manufacturer defect)
  • Incorrect items shipped by AeroAtoms
  • Damaged items received (with photographic proof)
  • Returns within 48 hours of delivery in perfect condition

Higher Restocking Fees

  • 25% for opened electronic components (if returnable at our discretion)
  • 35% for special-order items cancelled mid-production
  • 100% (no refund) for installed, modified, or damaged components

Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may be issued in the following cases:

  • Items not in original condition or with missing components
  • Items returned more than 7 days after delivery
  • Packaging damage caused during customer possession
  • Components with minor cosmetic damage not affecting functionality

Defective or Damaged Items

Manufacturing Defects

Warranty Coverage

  • Manufacturing defects covered under standard warranty period
  • Must be reported within 48 hours of discovery
  • Photographic or video evidence required
  • Free return shipping for confirmed defects

Defect Verification Process

  2. Technical team will review and provide troubleshooting guidance
  3. Return authorization issued if defect confirmed
  4. Replacement shipped after defective item inspection
  5. Refund provided if replacement unavailable

Not Covered as Defects

  • Damage from improper installation or handling
  • Issues caused by incompatible components or systems
  • Environmental damage (water, heat, physical impact)
  • Normal wear and tear from usage
  • Performance issues from incorrect configuration

Shipping Damage

Report Immediately

  • Inspect package upon delivery
  • Document any visible damage with photographs
  • Report within 24 hours to support@aeroatoms.com
  • Do not refuse delivery - accept and document damage

Claims Process

  • We will file shipping damage claim with carrier
  • Replacement shipped immediately upon verification
  • No cost to customer for shipping damage claims
  • Keep all packaging materials until claim is resolved

Wrong Item Shipped

Our Error

  • We cover all return shipping costs
  • Immediate replacement shipped at no charge
  • No restocking fees applied
  • Expedited shipping available upon request

Denied Returns

Reasons for Denial

Returns may be denied if:

  • Items not in original condition or packaging
